RECOMMENDED
Measured furniture wall
- Front-facing work position: the measured 75 × 35-inch desk faces the main window. The MIDI controller stays directly in front of the chair, with the ATCs on separate stands at the front corners.
- Right-wall keyboards: a freestanding four-tier rack puts the Trident, Triton, Model D and optional Trigon-6 vertically on the wall to your right without permanent construction.
- Opposite wall: the upright piano sits on the blank back wall. The 106 × 40-inch Library couch runs down the exterior wall beneath the side-window zone.
- Rack and sidecar: the measured 35 × 19 × 33-inch rack parks below the pocket-door section; PĒRKONS and SOLAR remain on the right-hand sidecar within seated reach.
Measurements recovered from Saturday 10/11
Studio desk 75 × 35 inches; Library couch 106 × 40 inches; studio rack 35 × 19 × 33 inches high. Desk and couch heights remain unmeasured, and width/depth orientation is inferred from their furniture shapes.
Make it look finished without construction
Use one rug, black cable sleeves, two freestanding 2 × 4-foot broadband panels, removable heavy curtains at the main glass, matched speaker stands, and a single warm floor lamp. Avoid built-ins.
SURVEY CLOSURE
What needs one more tape pass
Main wall · 1/4″ conflict
The recorded 34 3/8″ + 54 9/16″ + 40 3/8″ is 1/4″ wider than the room. The plan splits that difference equally and marks both gaps D.
Front side window · 1″ conflict
19 3/16″ + 35 3/4″ closes to a 109″ rear gap, not the reported 110″. Both readings remain in the downloadable survey.
Great-room opening · 9/16″ conflict
The two recorded wall segments and 35 1/4″ opening fall 9/16″ short. The plan splits that difference between the two wall segments as D.
